Privacy Policy
How MaghrebDev handles your personal data — short, honest and human-readable.
Last updated: 2025. MaghrebDev (maghreb.dev) is operated by Omar Kasmi. This policy explains what personal data this website collects and why.
1. Data I Collect
The website itself is mostly static. Personal data is collected only when you choose to provide it:
- Contact form: name, email, optional phone, subject and message.
- Anonymous analytics (optional, consent-based): aggregated page-view statistics via Google Analytics, with IP anonymization enabled. No analytics run until you accept them in the cookie banner.
2. How It's Used
Contact-form data is used exclusively to understand your request and reply to you. Analytics data, if you consent, is used only to understand which content is useful so the site can be improved. Data is never sold, rented or used for advertising.
3. Legal Basis
Processing of contact-form data is based on your explicit action of submitting the message (legitimate interest in responding to your request, per GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)/(f)). Analytics processing is based on consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time via the cookie banner or your browser settings.
4. Sharing & Storage
Messages are sent by email to contact@maghreb.dev / omar.kasmi@protonmail.com and stored in those mailboxes. The site is hosted on professional shared hosting; no third-party advertising or tracking networks are used. Google Analytics (if consented) processes data under its own terms at Google LLC.
5. Your Rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time. Since analytics is anonymous and form data lives in my mailbox, a simple email is usually enough — I'll confirm within 30 days as required by GDPR.
6. Contact
